Maine and Oregon have made history by being the first two states in the U.S. to require extended producer responsibility (EPR) for packaging. But how did they get there? This webinar brings together advocacy experts who will outline the way these bills went from idea to reality. They will also share the important lessons learned that can be applied by the solid waste industry as other states consider similar legislation.

The Maine and Oregon bills took different paths towards passage and have many important differences as a result. Learn from these examples how the private and public sectors can engage to ensure that EPR systems are built to truly advance the responsible management of solid waste as a resource.
